Summary
In the interview view, the top-left logo / workspace icon is not acting as a navigation control back to the main workspace. Users intuitively expect the top-left brand/workspace area to be clickable and to return them to their primary workspace or home screen.
Current Behavior
The top-left Ontora / workspace area (logo + “My Workspace” label) is either not clickable or does not reliably take the user back to their workspace overview. When an interview is open, users must rely on other navigation patterns (or the browser back button) instead of a clear, consistent “home” anchor in the UI.
Expected Behavior
The top-left icon and workspace label should function as a persistent, global “back to workspace” control:
Clicking the Ontora / workspace logo area in the top-left should navigate to the user’s main workspace / dashboard.
This behavior should be consistent from the interview view and other sub-pages.
Impact
Users may get “stuck” in deeper views like interviews and need to hunt for a way out.
Increases friction and makes the app feel less intuitive, especially compared to common SaaS UX patterns where the logo/home in the top-left is always clickable.
Combined with the lack of clear exit actions after finalizing an interview, this contributes to a sense of being trapped in the interview screen.
Recommended Changes
Implement a click handler on the top-left logo/workspace region that routes to the main workspace/home route.
Ensure this behavior is available across all app states (including active and finalized interviews).
Optionally provide hover and focus states to make it visually obvious that the top-left area is interactive and can be used to return “home”.
