In the interview player / live interview screen, when the user is speaking, there is no strong visual feedback that the microphone is active and that audio is being picked up. I expected a microphone visualization (volume bar or waveform) that reacts to the user’s voice.
Steps to Reproduce
Go to an active interview session.
Hold the spacebar (or use whatever push‑to‑talk interaction is enabled) to speak.
Watch the UI during your speech.
Notice the lack of a clear, dynamic indicator that your voice is being captured.
Actual vs Expected Behavior
Actual: The user gets little to no dynamic visual feedback (e.g., just a static mic icon), so it’s unclear whether the mic is live or if they’re too quiet / muted.
Expected: There should be a responsive visualization (like Google Meet) such as a waveform or bar that moves with the volume of the user’s speech, confirming that the agent is receiving audio.
Additional Context (optional)
This would also help diagnose mic configuration issues and reassure non‑technical users.
